Since 1962, Kindering has served families in our community when they need it most. Every leap in our ability to provide children and families with unique services has occurred as a result of Kindering’s tenacious drive to serve our community with innovative care.

In 2018, we served nearly 6,000 infants and young children with diverse abilities and their families. Yet the need for services remains high. 85% of brain development occurs during a child’s first 1,100 days of life. Supporting children during this vital developmental window is the most powerful investment we can make in helping them to reach their full potential. Kindering is poised to leverage technology, staff expertise, program excellence, and a rich heritage of thought leadership to reach farther and serve more families than ever before.

Suggested donation amounts:

$50 can purchase classroom items like a week of snacks, critical to feeding therapy.
$100 can purchase tools like high-contrast, colorful toys for visually impaired children.
$250 can provide equipment like a weighted vest for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or children with sensory integration issues.
$500 can purchase a mobility items such as a pediatric walker for a child with low muscle tone.
$1,000 can give a nonverbal child a chance to "speak" through an iPad full of prerecorded words and phrases.
