What

Kindering’s Salute to Courage Luncheon is a chance to gather with family, friends, and the community to celebrate the courage of the extraordinary children that walk through Kindering’s doors every day! This event allows our community to sit down to a nice lunch and learn about our programs and the impact they are making on the children in our care. Register above to reserve your spot today!

Why

Infants can’t wait! The research is emphatic. Birth to three is the most crucial phase of brain development – an irreplaceable opportunity to make a significant difference in a child’s potential. Our Salute to Courage luncheon is a very important fundraiser and we need your help. During the program you will be inspired by the stories that you hear. You’ll come away with a better understanding of the programs and services that Kindering has to offer.

Cost

There is no cost to you and your guests to attend our luncheon. Everyone will be asked to consider a contribution, and it is our goal to inspire you and your guests to give.
We suggest a minimum donation of $200 per person.

Jeff Sperring, MD, is the Chief Executive Officer and a Clinical Professor of hospital medicine at Seattle Children’s, and he deeply believes that “being a doctor is as much a matter of the heart as it is of the mind.”

    Read before you lunch!

As a fun addition to this year's event we asked Dr. Jeff Sperring to select a book that he felt would resonate with the Kindering community. Dr. Sperring couldn't pick just one so he went with two fabulous reads. Both are impactful, though different. The first is "Make Your Bed: Little Things That Can Change Your life...and Maybe the World." The second is the super-fun children's book, "Giraffes Can't Dance." Click the books here or head to your local bookstore or library - you won't want to miss out!
